Susanne Fleischmann is a pediatrician and was in private practice for 34 years in Cologne, Germany.
Art was always part of her life and Susanne started collecting graphics pieces since the early seventies.
In 1986 she took her first drawing class at the studios of Sabine Leonard in Cologne, Germany.
In 2003 she discovered Intaglio at the Kölner Graphikwerkstatt lead by Andreas Vietz where she became a member in 2004.
In 2005 Susanne moved to New York where her daughter resides and joined the Manhattan Graphic Center and studied Mezzotints with Frederick Mershimer and Japanese Woodblock Print with Takuij Hamanaka.
She visits Cologne every summer and takes workshops in Relief Print with Thomas Peters and Intaglio with Andreas Vietz at the Kölner Graphikwerkstatt.
